Belgium Post have informed us that industrial action will take place across the country between the 23-26 November by national trade unions. A national demonstration will also take place on 26 November. The action will affect national railway, all public transport, the airport and public services. As a result, delays are expected during this period and immediately after in case of any backlog.

Heavy rainfall caused flooding in the Padaherang and Kalipucang sub-districts of Pangandaran Regency, West Java, Indonesia. Lingering disruptions are likely.

Cuban Post have informed us that following Hurricane Melissa, which recently struck the eastern provinces of Cuba there will be delays to services in the provinces of Las Tunas, Santiago de Cuba, Holguín and Guantánamo until further notice.

Flight operations were disrupted at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IATA: DEL) in Delhi, India, after a technical fault occurred in the Automatic Message Switching System supporting Air Traffic Control operations. The issue caused delays for major airlines including IndiGo, Air India, Akasa Air and SpiceJet. Sources indicate that around 200 flights were delayed, with an average delay of 55 minutes. Lingering disruptions are likely till backlogs are cleared.

Da Nang International Airport (IATA: DAD) in Vietnam closed from November 5 to November 8. The closure of the airport is due to the passage of Typhoon Kalmaegi. Lingering disruptions to air freight are anticipated until the weather conditions improve.

Truck drivers in Seiyun, Hadhramaut, Yemen have launched an open-ended strike to protest financial extortion. They have halted operations and parked their vehicles near the airport, demanding authorities stop unauthorised practices and ensure the free flow of goods. A United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) cargo plane crashed at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (IATA: SDF) in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Following the crash, UPS halted parcel sorting operations at the airport on the night of 4 November and the morning of 5 November. Operational disruptions are likely to continue at the airport.

Members of the Pancyprian Transport Operators Trade Union (PSMA) have announced an indefinite strike at the Port of Limassol in Cyprus, which began on 3 November 2025, is causing significant disruptions to mail and logistics services. Mail and parcel deliveries routed through Limassol may be delayed indefinitely.

Russian authorities announced the closure of several border crossing points along the border with China, due to the end of the navigation season. Passenger services at the Khabarovsk river crossing close on 1 November, followed by freight operations on 6 November, while vehicle crossings at Blagoveshchensk, Poyarkovo, and Nizhneleninskoye will also be suspended on 1 or 2 November. The crossings will reopen once ice conditions allow for winter operations. Disruptions to cross-border business and logistics are expected.

Transport companies experienced disruptions at Memphis International Airport (IATA: MEM) in Memphis, United States, Tennessee, due to inclement weather. Some package deliveries initially scheduled for 29 October are likely to experience delays until weather conditions improve.

Hurricane Melissa caused widespread flooding and disruptions in the Granma, Santiago de Cuba, Guantánamo, Holguín, Las Tunas, and Camagüey provinces of Cuba. Local authorities declared a state of alert for storms and floods due to Hurricane Melissa on 29 October. Further disruptions are likely until weather conditions improve.

PhilPost have provided an update on the ongoing impact of Typhoon Opong, which made landfall in Eastern Samar on the 25 September. The typhoon has affected several regions across the country and as a result, postal services in the affected areas are still facing delays in mail collection, processing and delivery until further notice. The affected areas are:- Antique, Oriental Mindoro, Iloilo, Samar, Bicol, Biliran Negros Occidental, Aklan, Masbate, Zamboanga City, and Northern Cebu. The entire Eastern, Central and Western Visayas regions and the city of Baguio.

Earthquake – PhilPost has informed us that a 6.9 magnitude earthquake impacted the CEBU province on the 30th September. A 7.6 magnitude earthquake then struck the province of Davao Oriental on the 10 October 2025. As a result, damage to various facilities and infrastructure in the region has been reported and may result win postal service delays in in the region.
